Review: Fruit by the Foot

Let's face it; everybody's been eating these things since they were kids. If you claim you don't miss them, you're lying. In the immortal words of Charles De Mar, they are "the hottest thing since sunburn!"

Enough of my obsessing. Let's get down to business. There are other things that need reviewing as well.

GRADE BOOK

packaging-B
-let's face it; this food is designed for the younger generation. still, it's appealing. the package is colorful and eye-catching. it makes it stick out.

taste-A
-this is by far its strongest quality. it excels in taste where copycats like fruit roll-ups falter. (nearly) every single flavor is excellent. even the ones that aren't can grow on you over time. it's all in the taste.

nutrition-irrelevant

fun level-B+
-very simple. put the end of it in your mouth, then slowly unroll it and shove it in your mouth. eat it all at once. done.

INTERMISSION

berry tie-dye are the best.

FINAL GRADE-A
my suggestion. BUY

  1. nutrition is relevant. high fructose corn syrup is one of the culprits of childhood obesity. are you trying to ignore this growing epidemic?

  3. matt, to point to fruit by the foot as the sole cause of childhood obesity would be incredibly narrow-minded. there are many other factors that have to be included.

besides, if you cared enough about fruit by the foot, you'd change your lifestyle so you could keep eating it without worrying about that.

----i removed the other post so i could fix a spelling error or two.

  4. bill, the final grade is not necessarily a summation of the individual grades. the final grade is my view of the subject as a whole. the individual grades are simply me breaking it into smaller sections and grading them. therefore, if something matters more to you, you may weight it differently.
