what do these lyrics mean to you?
ReplyDeletewell brett, i think these lyrics have a lot of meaning. to me, they mean that its hard to measure the time we spend on earth. There are so many opportunities given to us in life and we should take each one of them because we only have a certain amount of time. and the last part of the song to me means that we must have love for others as well as find things to live for in our life. and then all together i just think that the song is written really well and has a nice lyrical flow.

ReplyDeletesounds a bit more like a poem to me, but I guess that's essentially what songs are. I suppose time is everything and nothing at the same time.

"it" refers to time.
ReplyDeletei completely agree. i feel like there are never enough hours in a day. that's what makes life so valuable. we have to spend each moment wisely because we have a limited amount of it time.
